Summary
The post holder will contribute to our expanding teaching and research activities in energy and power management. The appointee will be expected to develop teaching modules to support undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Mechanical Engineering and in Aerospace Engineering. Applicants should have a first degree in an engineering or physics based subject, a PhD in a relevant area, experience of either post-doctoral or industrial research and a good publication record.

Eptec Commissions New L/Sis Rig
The Lubricant/System Interaction Simulator (L/SIS) simulates all the parts of a turbine that relate directly to the lubrication system. This new commission will enable Eptec to gain a better understanding of the interaction between the chemistry and mechanical properties of lubricant, and materials of lubrication systems.
