Eptec utilises research facilities based in Beighton, Sheffield - a place where the world's of academia and industry combine. Eptec maintains world-class research and testing facilities at our 11,000 sq. ft. facility, and the industrial and research background to provide unique solutions.
Our solutions are derived through the company's extensive industrial contacts - bringing cutting-edge industrial equipment and academic experimentation together. Where once there were small, poorly funded facilities located around the country, Eptec has brought these together under one roof.
Eptec offers an independent solution for assessing the complete performance of fuels, lubricants and additives in aircraft engines, including their combustion and effects on emissions. In addition to testing Eptec provides expert consultancy on the regulatory approval process for aviation fuels.
Eptec is the result of a major collaboration between Sheffield and Leeds Universities, the spin out company Energy and Power Technology Limited being formed in 2005
